Jennifer Cochran
Jennifer is a qualified clinical naturopath with a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy. She is a Fitgenes Certified Practitioner, an accredited Gut Ecology and Metabolic Modulation (G.E.M.M.) clinician and a member of the Australian Natural Therapies Association (ANTA).
Jennifer has a particular interest in nutrigenetics, gut health, personalised healthcare and healthy ageing (longevity). She is passionate about helping patients understand their individual health needs and genetic predispositions, with a focus on improving healthspan — the years of life spent in good health.
Her clinical interests also include metabolic health, weight management, blood sugar regulation, hormonal balance, fatigue and women’s midlife health, including perimenopause and menopause.
Using the G.E.M.M. framework, Jennifer takes a personalised, whole-person approach, considering the interconnected roles of gut health, nutrition, metabolism, inflammation, hormones, sleep and stress. She incorporates conventional pathology, functional testing and genetic profiling where appropriate to develop practical, individualised nutrition and lifestyle strategies that support long-term health and wellbeing.
Outside the clinic, Jennifer keeps busy as a mum to two daughters and enjoys yoga, walking her dog and spending time outdoors in nature whenever she can.
